Alpharetta Runs Away With Early Lead in Victory

Northview Titans Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 5-2 loss to Alpharetta on Monday. Alpharetta scored on a double by Rowlinson and an error in the first inning.

In the first inning, Alpharetta got their offense started. Alpharetta scored two runs when Rowlinson doubled. Stratton earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Alpharetta. He allowed four hits and two runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five. #25 threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen. #25 recorded the last seven outs to earn the save for Alpharetta.

Colton McDaniel took the loss for Northview Titans Varsity. He lasted six innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out six.

Jaysen Dower went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Northview Titans Varsity in hits.
