4-Hit Day For Pacifico Leads Northview Titans Varsity Past Garrard County
Matthew Pacifico collected four hits in five at bats, as Northview Titans Varsity defeated Garrard County 11-1 on Thursday. Pacifico singled in the second, doubled in the fourth, doubled in the fifth, and singled in the sixth.
An early lead helped propel Northview Titans Varsity to victory. Northview Titans Varsity took the lead on a single in the first inning.
Northview Titans Varsity captured the lead in the first inning. Griffin Cheney singled on a 1-1 count in the first inning, scoring one run.
Northview Titans Varsity scored eight runs in the fifth inning. Northview Titans Varsity’s big inning was driven by a home run by DJ Poteet, a walk , a single by Jaysen Dower, a double by Matthew Pacifico, and a home run.
Ryan Blake earned the win for Northview Titans Varsity. He tossed four and two-thirds innings, allowing one run, two hits, striking out nine, and walking one. Northview Titans Varsity Jumps Out To Early Lead In Victory Over South Warren
Northview Titans Varsity jumped out to an early lead over South Warren and took home an 8-1 victory on Tuesday. Northview Titans Varsity scored on a home run by Michael Trautwein in the first inning and a home run by Colton McDaniel in the second inning.
Northview Titans Varsity secured the victory thanks to five runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to a walk by DJ Poteet, a walk by Griffin Cheney, and a double by Michael Wilson.
Northview Titans Varsity captured the lead in the first inning. Michael Trautwein homered on a 2-0 count in the first inning, scoring one run.
South Warren knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the first inning. Smith drove in one when he doubled in the first inning.
Northview Titans Varsity took the lead for good with one run in the second inning. In the second Colton McDaniel homered off of Beckner, driving in one run.
Northview Titans Varsity scored five runs in the fourth inning. Northview Titans Varsity scored on a walk by Poteet, a walk by Cheney, and a double by Wilson.
McDaniel earned the win for Northview Titans Varsity. He tossed six innings, allowing zero runs, one hit, and striking out eight. Beckner took the loss for South Warren. He pitched three and two-thirds innings, giving up six runs, seven hits, and striking out three.
Mark McLaughlin started the game for Northview Titans Varsity. He threw one inning, surrendering one run, two hits, and striking out two.
Home runs for Northview Titans Varsity came when McDaniel homered in the second inning and Trautwein homered in the first inning.

Poteet’s Walkoff Gives Northview Titans Varsity Victory Over Johns Creek
Northview Titans Varsity took Thursday’s game in dramatic fashion, with a 5-4 walk-off victory over Johns Creek. The game was tied at four with Northview Titans Varsity batting in the bottom of the eighth when.
Johns Creek captured the lead in the first inning. Jared Mihalik singled on a 0-1 count in the first inning, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the third inning, Northview Titans Varsity tied things up at four. Northview Titans Varsity scored one run when Lui Suzuki-Williams singled with two outs in the third inning.
Matthew Pacifico earned the win for Northview Titans Varsity. He went three and a third innings, surrendering zero runs, one hit, striking out five, and walking one. Will Mangurian took the loss for Johns Creek. He pitched two and a third innings, giving up one run, one hit, and striking out two.
Mihalik started the game for Johns Creek. He pitched five and a third innings, surrendering four runs, nine hits, striking out one, and walking zero. Runs At A Premium As Northview Titans Varsity Defeats Alpharetta
Both teams were strong on the mound Wednesday, but Northview Titans Varsity defeated Alpharetta 3-2. Colton McDaniel allowed just five hits to Alpharetta.
Alpharetta took an early lead in the first inning. Alpharetta scored one run when Santiago Montiel doubled with one out in the first inning.
Northview Titans Varsity took the lead for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third DJ Poteet singled off of Seth Phillips, driving in one run and Phillips induced Griffin Cheney to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.
Colton McDaniel earned the win for Northview Titans Varsity. He went seven innings, surrendering two runs, five hits, and striking out eight. Phillips took the loss for Alpharetta. He tossed six innings, surrendering three runs, six hits, striking out three, and walking zero.
Northview Titans Varsity had six hits in the game. Poteet and Lui Suzuki-Williams each collected multiple hits for Northview Titans Varsity. Northview Titans Varsity had eight hits in the game. Michael Trautwein and Matthew Pacifico each collected multiple hits for Northview Titans Varsity. Wilson led Northview Titans Varsity with three runs batted in. He went 1-for-3 on the day. Northview Titans Varsity didn’t commit a single error in the field. Thomas Cistulli had 12 chances in the field, the most on the team.
